You going to weld it on or keep it clamped? i suggest weld specially with a cutout.

How hard is it for you to uncap it from there? I'm thinking of getting one and put it right where you have yours, so I'm just wondering. And sounds clips are a must, one with it shut, and one with it open~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~

I would get it welded like said it will be cheap, I paid $40 to have them install it for me. cut the pipe and put it in.
I know you are not going to want to hear it, but from the angle of the pics it looks like you should have mounted it like 6-8 inches forward. To avoid rattles. Idealy it should sit in the gap where the front of the rear seat mounts.
