And as for roads sucking, we have good roads, cept for now...I HATE construction. They're putting in sewerlines by my house, and today I saw 4 inches of rubar poking up from the road in two seperate spots, not to mention the countless 2' wide and 1' deep potholes.

Oh ya, like the sound of the idle.

Thanks: I like the Idle sound too. Will headers and a high flow cat change the sound much?

          Re: Exhaust Cutout pics

i've never heard of that exhibition of acceleration ticket so I searched for some info on it and seems it's basically for street racing and/or spinning the tires.

Also, I noticed that in the Summit catalog many of the catback exhausts (flowmaster, dynomax, and others) have the 50 state legal icon with them. So either Summit is wrong or i'm not sure the statements about any modification to the exhaust being illegal is true.

And yes you are going to lose "low end like crazyyyy" with the cutout on the y-pipe. It's good for the strip but I definately wouldn't want to drive around with it open on the street.

              Re: Exhaust Cutout pics

50 state legal means it will pass emissions...

but it depends on noise ordinances.

as for the cutout, I have had them on different spots on diffrent f-bodies, and the best place is on the I-pipe, and the opening goes in the little hump Right below the front of the back seat.(go look at it you will understand)
