  • magnaflow on a 3.8L camaro

I've got a 99 3.8L v6 camaro, about to start modding, I'm really thinking about getting a magnaflow catback.

I live near houston, and I'm trying to find a rough estimate on getting everything done, parts and installation

I'm not really wanting to spend more than 500/600 on this.

Just dropped $1500 on new wheels and tires; :D

    see here:

FR 17" black z06 wheels with polished lip, with bfg geforce t/a kdw 275/40/17 tires.

has anyone had their magnaflow rust?

and.. how much are most people paying out the door to get everything done at local shops?

anyone have any reccomendations as to where I should get it done? or does it really not matter..?

I have a borla exhaust system for sale if your interested, cat-back is not that hard to install, but I'd guess $200 for prof. install

did you just order it online for 550 or however much it was? or did the muffler shop sell it to you for cheaper?

Bought a 3" magnaflow catback from a prior member here for $200 and welded it in myself. I was under the car recently when replacing the rear shocks and there is no rust whatsoever on the exhaust piping.

I just bought the 2.5 Magnaflow from SUmmit for around 427.00. I put it on myself; it really was not that hard; I would say save the money and do it your self. Sounds great
