Hey guys I just want to make sure on this before I do it. With my current setup since I took off my cat and put in a 2.5 in straight pipe would switching that for a 3 in pipe from the Y-pipe off the headers to my Borla catback be benificial for the car. Also do you think that it would make it sound much more raspier. I knwo that it would sound a bit louder adn deeper, but wansnt sure on the rasp part. I plan on havig this done sometime this week. Thanx guys!

Well I was gonna install a 4.10 gear from my 3.73 so tha would pick up some botom end along with a 3k verter. So that should pick up the bottom end nicely right.01\'Y87 Firebird:Gt1 cam,Vig.3000 stall

QFT, stick with what ya got. Exhausts are very much a case of "the grass is greener on the other side" syndrome. I've been through 4 and i kinda wish i'd just stuck with the first one.Originally posted by black95maro

Im not wanting to change the the catback itself because Im happy with the Borla. IM just was considering changeing the piping where my cat was which I have a 2.5in straight pipe there and my s-pipe to a custom made 3in pipe. honestly, its not going to make a huge difference, its not that big a section of pipe right? odds are your'll barely notice it.
