    Re: intake

pvc or ducting will work. You really felt a difference? Maybe it was in your head, but then again maybe not. I was a big believer in the shaved lid until I finally bought a whisper lid :) better since it has a round instead of oval tube. Also is a little higher. Might as well do the free ram air mod if you don't mind cleaning the filter a little bit and getting rid of the silencer will help out alot on sound

i built my intake on my car out of pvc piping, and was quite satisfied. its considered 3" id but measures to be like 3 1/4" haha, it's great. if you'd like pictures of my intake setup, lemme know... granted my firechicken is a '97 with the angled TB.
