how likely is it that i get the ses light? i got the ones with the 02 nut and it says its ok for obdII cars. any input

Couldn't tell you, but if you haven't done the install yet, I'd say go ahead and just get an o2 simulator to solve the problem before it starts.
My understanding is that the o2 sensor after the cat is just a nag sensor anyway, doesn't serve much purpose besides telling you your cat is "inefficient." If you're putting on a new one, you already know what kind of shape your cat is in.

Anthony, since you got the same cat as me, just wait to get an o2 sensor. The cat is supposed to be obd2 compliant, and i have yet to throw a code in the 6+ months I have had it. Like i said, if you do get a code, THEN buy the o2 sim, and take your car to autozone and have them clear the code. No point in wasting 30 bucks if you dont need to on a sim.

i have a 3" in/out magnaflow cat (carsound) with obdII for lil over 2 yrs and havent thrown a code yet for it.2000 firebird w68, auto, t-tops , 3.42 , k&n, whisper lid, taylor 8mm spark plug wires , bosch spark plugs , 3\"in/out carsound CAT , 3\" i pipe, take off trans am muffler, C6 Z06 rims
