hmmm, doubt its your throttle body, theres really nothing in there that could cause a clicking noise.

What problems can cause running a car with this problem?

my 1997 firebird started doing this ticking, the same way, on may, and i solved the problem last sunday. I flushed the engine, changed the oil, and added Rislone. After doing this, my car is running perfect.

its just that oil isnt up at the top of your engine yet and your lifters are making a ticking noise.

i knew a guy who has worked at an auto shop for years and years, and he always told me "well, at least you know how that its working"

BTW, my car ticks ALL of the time
