Hi,
Thanks for the info. I search this site as time allows. I got a lot of answers and info. Does anyone know of this ram air kit? I have researched about every brand I could find and this seems to be a good one.
It's the same premise as the other ones, suck cold air from the front into the intake and engine. That one would work fine. It hink the SLP kit is a little cheaper though.
I have this ram air kit on my car. Its a great kit. I think its the only one that offers a gasket for the front of the ari box to seal it up which makes as they describe it gives the intake a small supercharging effect. Meaning the faster you go the more power you make all though its not going to be a great significance I feel that the comment is accurate. It also give the intake a beutiful whining noise. The kit also come wiht a a blcok off plate that you can put in the air box over the ram air intake hole to block it off when you want to. I like this kit better over teh SLP kit.

All the kits give an airbox blockoff.
The SLP ram/cold air metal intake is a little different from the FTRA, ftra extends a little further, that's why it costs more.
SSRA is probably the best, the new ones are made of stronger plastic and extends very far.
