Everyone wants a deep tone. Borla is the best for that imo, but just my borla muffler was over 150. It should sound better than stock anyway. Many people have the flowmaster system, so it can't be THAT bad..
depends on what system you are getting
I have the american thunder catback which comes with the 80 series muffler.
Def doesn't sound like rice, sounds nice and deep. Except on really hot days, it still sounds good but I dont think its loud enough, Thats why I'm installing a cutout next week
I have the flowmaster and like it. Sounds good and I get compliments when they hear that its a six. But I got the flowmaster because it was cheap at the time. If I had money to spend I'd go with the borla or magnaflow.

my flowmaster rusted out from the inside. pretty pissed off about it

if you redo your whole exhaust from the manifolds back, the flowmaster is perfect in my opinion.....allows you to still have some backpressure because it is not as wide open as the others. it would be extremely loud as well if you put a LM/Borla on it with the headers/hf cat. The flowmaster american thunder catback by itself though wouldnt be much of a performance option, more for sound. Biggest drawback with that cat-back is that the flowmaster 80 series is heavy as hell! My stock exhaust hanger couldnt handle the weight and snapped where it was welded...had to get a larger hanger.

I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
