  • rk headers or pacesetter?

might be looking into some headers for my 93 3.4 firebird, read up on it in the mod encyclo and i had a quick question. Pace setter headers for the 3.4 run around 300 but are not ceramic. Rksport headers are ceramic coated but cost a whopping 500 space bux. I realize the advantage of ceramic coated but i also realize the advantage of saving 200 space bux. I've heard people say "headers are headers" but if ceramic is worth it i am willing to pay the extra. in your professional opinions is it worth paying more for the ceramic? does it decrease chance of leaking and give a little more power? Or is there little difference. thanx

the real only difference is the fact that they will not rust....as quickly

so would you suggest saving the 200 space bux? and getting the pace setter

I would get the pacesetters. with the 3.4, you will not have to worry about the egr leak and rk sports leak like an SOB

now i'm confused you say the pace setters are the way to go, but vanbibber says to go with the rksport, also the mod encyclopedia says that the rksports are great and don't leak... whats goin on here?

rksports are better on the 3.8s, not sure about 3.4s. Probably though, pacesetters are kind of cheap, and you should easily be able to find non ceramic pacesetters for cheaper than $300. check out texas speed

the ever increasing decline of the U.S. Dollar has seen the space buck rise to supremacy and holds a current exchange rate of 1.52 per 1.00 u.s. dollar.
