magnaflow exaust, which kit?

Alright well i've been doing a ton of research, and i think i'm going to buy the magnaflow catback exhaust, i've listened to a ton of clips and i think magnaflow just sounds a bit better. My question is, will the LS1 Catback system fit on my 2002 3.8 the systems look the same, and the only visual difference i can see is that the pipe is 3 inches instead of 2.5", and i've also heard that the tip lengths are not the same for the v6 meaning they are offset a little bit. If anyone has any suggestions, advice, throw it at me, i wanna get this ordered by the end of the week

I was going to do the same thing, and my friend told me it would work with some minor fabrication/adjustments. But I'm not 100% sure.

hanger locations are the only real difference. simple fix for a muffler shop
