So I re did my intake. I had some old things laying around and made a cold air for my 2000 3.8. I got some 3 inch pipe connector from ace and put that over the throttle body. I then took some of the flexy loom looking stuff (2.5 inch) and ran from the throttle body around in a u and pointed it down behind the radiator. I used some chrome pipe from an old intake on my other car and ran that down towards the ground. Anyways, I took the IAT sensor and placed it in the connector I used on the throttle body. It is really close to the TB itself, about 2.5 to 3 inches away. When I start up the car now it kinda sounds liek it is camming, could it be because that IAT sensor is so close to the MAF and TB? Or could it be because of the tube I used for the bend around not being as large in diameter as the rest of the intake?

Re: new setup, question...
k, well i doubt its gettin to much because before i just had a filter on the throttle body with no tubing, so its actually getting less air now. I am getting ready to clean the MAF. Could a bad IAT cause a Lean condition. Before I just hasd it hanging down. The weather was real warm today, about 90 degrees.
