I have a chance to buy a used catback for less than 200 bux. Wondering if anyone that has it can tell me what it sounds like. I have flowmaster and it sounds good at idle and such but its kinda too raspy in the higher rpm's. Is it deep and throaty or what?

I looked it up in the sticky and couldn't find that many people with hooker.

Well, the kit is off of an ls1 and he said it sounds stock at idle but at full throttle is sounds really good. Just wondering what you guys think on a v6. I wonder if stock sound at idle on the ls1 is stock on the v6 or maybe a little tone at idle.

if it is that quiet on a v8, it will be even more quiet on a v6.

And it was real quiet. Didn't sound bad, it was just too quiet for my tastes (and bare in mind that the exhaust is always louder in a droptop).
