I'm assuming you have the 3.8. Have you heard the 3.4 with no mufflers and cats? I'm just wondering if you're saying this for ALL Camaros, or just what you've heard from your car. I've gotten nothing but compliments on my car's sound and I'm wondering your reasoning for your statement.

yes i have a 3.8. and no, i havent heard a 3.4 with no muffler or cats, but i can almost reassure you it would sound like crap. it would be raspy as crap on the top end, theres no way around it. if you want to prove me wrong, i need a soundclip.

I have a 2.8 2bbl V6 with the stock cat straight into dual 3" tail pipes with no muffler, its loud. I have a sound clip with it parked in the driveway I can find and post if you would like to hear it.

ive heard a 3.4 with no cat and a glasspack, and it sounded HORRIBLE. raspy as hell and there was no tone to it at all.

straight pipe are just loud and thats it, they wont/dont sound good.

                Re: straight pipes

                I have had a 3.4L and a 3.8L, and a 5.0 mustang :)

and I have had most setups you can have with exhaust or been around them.

both are raspy, and will sound nothing like a Mustang.

the 3.4L sounds better then the 3.8L and sound ok at idle.

the 3.8L sounds like ***, pretty much throughout the powerrange. It gets louder with no cat.

I currently have a 3.8L with a gutted CAT, and a cutout on the stock exhaust. Stock exhaust makes a little noise but not much with no cat. With the CUTOUT, its loud, and sounds not so good.

as they called James's car... the buzzing half dozen is the best way to describe the V6.

I have straight pipes on my car, 2.5" with a magnaflow high flow cat, on start up it is ANNOYINGLY loud, but at idle it sounds like a V8... it sounds good up to 2500 rpms but then gets retardly annoying... i def want to go back to a nice cat back... prolly magnaflow..

Not that this is on topic or anything but why in he11 would you say that?! You keep putting yourself in more compromising positions. Right before your last thread got locked down you appologized for the things you said. Why would you go out and say something like that after all of the other crap was cleaned up.

                      Your a$$ needs to GTFO!

                      Sorry guys...
