I'm planning on making the exhaust for my firebird true dual. All I need to buy is the mufflers and I know a shop that will make all the piping and such for pretty cheap. My question is, does it really matter if I buy mufflers made for a different car? Do you guys have any suggestions on mufflers to buy? I'm just looking to get two for pretty cheap probably off ebay.
Well in theory, so long as you can make it fit and the piping diameters match up, it won't matter what muffler you're using. So long as you can make it fit <-- Key words right there. There's not gonna be a whole lot of space with all that piping, so it's best to go with something that you know WILL fit.
