High flow cat converter

So im looking on ebay at magnaflow high flow cats and they have all different sizes of them like the opening size of like 3", 2.5", 2.25" and so on. How do i know what size to get, i tried measuring my pipes but im not sure if thats right? Help me out

do you have a stock exhaust setup? more than likely youll want a 2.5" in/out. unless you have 3" pipes, then go with 3. just measure and match. easy.

No i have flowmaster 80 series exhaust so idk if its stock piping up until the muffler and then i have 3 inch exhaust tips, so im not sure what you think?

its either 2.5, 2.75 or 3. just go measure em!

you want to get a 3" in and out. the y-pipe has a 3" outlet and just get a reducer for the backside if you need it.

Yeah it says the crossover pipe for the headers is 3" out so i should probably get the 3" in/out then right?? The reducer does that just fit on the out of the coverter if the piping is smaller?
