pacesetter gasket covers???

So i just bought pacesetter ceramic coated headers on ebay and a new magnaflow high flow catalytic converter...anyways i was told that the paper gaskets that come with the headers are junk...is this true???

yes. Either get some stock replacement gaskets or, even better check out abbottracingheads.com and email him for a header gasket. The abbott ones are aound $35 shipped, but well worth it.

what about for the 3.4? Are there any gaskets that i could purchase that are better than the ones coming with my pacesetter headers?

Ive heard the pacesetter gaskets for the 3.4 werent as bad as the ones for 3.8 but i dont know for sure, i got abbott gaskets but ive heard they dont make 3.4 ones, you could call down there and see or maybe they could make a template for 3.4
