I was hoping there would be enough of us 3.4 guys that would want them that maybe he could either lower or eliminate the $20 setup fee since there would be a lot of us wanting them. The guys name that I talked to about the copper gaskets is Lani and his email is gasketman@cox.net if you wanted to contact him. As for the locking bolts, I plan on getting the ones from ftpp.net. The full link is http://www.ftpp.net/V6/Exhaust/V6%20Locking%20Header%20Bolts.htm
thank you
please email me when you know the gaskets are available to buy from that dealer, i will ask him to do the same but he might forget =) phathams@aim.com i would appreciate it, thank you
BTW i just bought those stage 8 bolts .... 60 bucks for bolts... Whahoooooo!! =-)
No more power is gained cuz of the coating but it helps keep your engine temps done and keeping the engine from overheating , once the headers are on its free air flow and that air flow generates A LOT more heat under the hood than the regular stock manifolds did, SO id say its worth it getting the ceramic coated ones, its really up to you though

i don't know, 200 space bux is a lot to ceramic coat.... how crappy do the non coated ones look when they start to rust??
now there's a thought, how much does the wrap cost?
BTW, if i can't get these "copper" gaskets that i'm hoping for any time soon should i just stick with the gaskets that come with the pacesetters? or are there any other gaskets for the 3.4 that are better than what it comes with??

header wrap is cheap, and it's a bit of a pia to put on. It looks crappy, but it does the same thing as the ceramic coating.
so far (2K miles) I've had no probs with the pacesetter gaskets.
I dont have a 3.4 and ive heard the pacesetter gaskets for 3.4 arent as bad as the ones for 3.8, also about the wrapping ive heard bad things about doing that because it traps the heat inside the wrap i guess and id talk to someone that knows a lil more about this because you dont want to **** something up, if i were you id post a new thread asking about wrapping headers and if its a good idea
are you going to do it or are you having a shop do it?
I have a friend who is VERY good at this kind of stuff, I will offer him a good sum of $ and the chance to "teach" me how to do something like this at the same time. He is busy though and if he can't i will have a shop do it
