problem with TB spacer

ok i got a 97 3.8 bird auto. the intake "hole" is smaller the the hole on the TB.

use it as it is or taking my grinder to the intake manafold hole and bore it out?

you talking about the tb spacer hole? who made the spacer? what material? pic?

the hole the air passes though and it is made by motorvation

that sucks. I just checked my zzp spacer and it's 2.58". Throttle body is 2.58". Dead on. Ok, just checked the intake manifold, also 2.58". What kind of difference are we talking about with the motorvation spacer?

my TB is 2 5/8 and it looks like my intake is 2 1/2

does ZZP make one for a 97 angled intake

yeah, thats total crap. i would try to get my money back. if not i would ever so gently blend the edge of the manifold to the spacer.

i would try to return, but i ordered that thing sooo long ago,, ill just take it to work Superwinch and file it down a lil or give to the guys in the machine shop and c what they can do

no should i bore out the TB itself or just the intake

probably just a little bit of the upper manifold so the air coming in doesn't hit that "wall" around the edge.

so leave the TB alone? just open the intake manifold a lil
