    Re: Removed Silencer Box

I broke off the fins. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Sanded it down a little bit just to make sure. It's got a few little bumps there, but it's not so bad. Made sure the surface was clean and free of any particles that could fly into the throttle body.

I still don't notice a difference in any shape or form :p

Ryan, I'm actually looking around for tubing that is flexible enough to go from the TB to the lid (or the rubber piece with the air sensor). I've come up short, but I took the measurements and I'll keep hunting.

Intercooler piping FTW...ill post pics here later but it was teh best fit on removing the baffle and the small round rubber piece closest to the TB.

going back to what I said earlier, I was driving around and the temp in the car reached 210 F and higher just by driving on the high way. Before the hose was installed it would be smack dab in the middle between 160 and 210. The hose and the air box were extremely extremely hot.
