  • how easy?

for a flowmaster 80 series. on ebay its like 90 bucks, but it says it will fit where the stock muffler goes. 3 in input 2 - 2.5in outputs. is it worth the cash and time to put it in? watcha think?

putting in just the muffler? I wouldn't bother a shop with doing that.

You might wanna go try your local shop first before you buy anything. When i had my last car done it was only like $30 difference in price to have the whole new piping put in. But if u decide to just swap the muffler they may cut your old one out to discover its to rusty to get a good seal so your exhaust may sound bad (leaks= annoying popping/whooshing sound). Some shops have alot of knock off flomaster stuff thats the exact same. I was running dual thunderbolts (flowmaster 40), the thunderbolts only cost $28 a piece

I switch stock muffler with flowmaster 80 and it sounds great and no problems. Go for it and a shop should do it pretty cheap. If you look around here or other forums you should be able to find the muffler cheaper.

if you want performance get a catback... if you want sound only then just get the muffler.

Might as well save up and get a Flowmaster catback or the Magnaflow.
