does anyone know of any issues with a whisper lid and oem ss hood? because i just went from fipk to whisper lid and the hood won't close if i try to press down and make it close the hood bows realld bad at the tip of the scoop (down by the latch) and wants to snap in half.. lol anyone have any clue why it will not fit?

just turn your bumpers (or bump stops) a little higher so your hood isnt closing on it -

its an 01 it was for sure in the hood adjustment and i can't adjust the hood cause on the locking hood pins.. ohwell i just had to stick with my k&n fipk2001 Camaro 3.8 A4

I'm guessing you incorrectly installed the airbox/lid assembly.1998 M5 3.8 Mystic Teal Camaro<br />Flowmaster exhaust, Pacesetter headers, 3\" cat, 3\" S-pipe, whisper lid, ram air, Spec Stage 1 clutch, Poly Trans mount, Walbro 255LPH.
