I bought a set of Jet Hot Pacesetters off of a guy from ebay recently, but the set came without any hardware (no block studs, gaskets, etc.) Would I be just fine finding some bolts and nuts long enough to get the two pieces together on either side?
Also, on another note, is there any serious welding or tricky spots I should be prepared for when I plan on doing my full exhaust coming up soon? Going to be installing the jet hot Pacesetters, MF HF Cat, and MF 2.5" Cat back. Thanks guys.
i actally didnt even use the bolts pacesetter supplyed, they didnt seem to be threaded long anough and i had leaks on bolt sides. i found some bolts that were a tad shorter but threaded all the way to the head and used those.your going to need some washers so the head of the bolts dont go through the bolt holes in the flanges. i also used lock washers at the ends.
gaskets id go with abbott, they're 100 times better looking than pacesetters and everyone loves them, including myslef.
you can buy locking header bolts or just regular ones.
the heat sheilds were my biggest issue, i got them loose but couldnt get them out, they wouldnt fit between the manifolds and the wheel well. i had to bent them to get them out. after that it wasnt too bad, i had to get my dad to help me put the headers themselves on, its hard to hold the header, a bolt and line up the gasket yourself. definatly find someone to help.
