my question is it worth it to add another cutout to my car sound wise Im just really curious how this would sound with two cutouts

    Re: adding another cutout

just move the one you have if you want to change the sound...move it further up in the exhaust if you want it louder, further back if you want it quieter

so basically having two is pointless is what you are telling me. Im happy with the sound now but I figured another one wouldn't hurt plus it dosent cost that much seeing how I was considering a cam but decided it was too much of a headache and a couple thousand dollars.

I was planning adding another cutout and buying the dual electric cutout off ebay and trhis would open them both up at the same time all this would be less than 400 dollars

        Sound-wise on a stock-style exhaust piping, yup

the only way that dual cutouts would be worth it is if you had true duals on your car. So, if you do have true duals, then go for it...but, if you have the traditional Y-to-cat-to-S-to-I-to-over-axle-pipe configuration, then don't bother

spend your money on something else worth spending it on. One cutout is enough

about 7-800 in parts, and about the same in labor if you pay a shop to do it

changing a cam is easy, i have no idea why someone would pay a shop to do it unless they needed it done like really quick

okay well give me a link of a complete cam kit that I can take to my mechanic and have him install it without buying anything else. I mean with everything thats needed to install it or do you have to buy all seperate parts and put them together
