dulling noise from exhaust

i just purchased a 1995 camaro and i've noticed a dull noise like a vacum sound occur from under the right side of the car when i give it 50% or more throttle, right before this occured there was a rattling noise coming from my best guess would be the catalic converter. if any one can help i would very much appreciate it

is there a crack in your exasut?

somtimes if you rev your engine with your ac on a raspy rattling noise accurs

Most likely a bad cat or an exhaust leak.

the noise is occuring round 3 grand and gets louder as it climbs,havent seen a crack in the exhaust. The cat sounds like something may be blocking it, any idea on a decent priced cat costs nowadays
