I just did the "free ram air mod" to my firebird, and just read a thread that said it wasnt a good idea because it draws in hot air from underneath...this is very disheartening. I also have the WS6 hood and took out the baffles from it, so would this help to counteract drawing in hot air? how can I fix this? or is the free ram air mod worth it after all and im just being paranoid haha. i want my car to be best it can be. thanks

not that big of a deal... if you have a ram air hood then get this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/K-N-5...spagenameZWDVW or this http://www.lmperformance.com/2386/1.html

does the volant system work a lot better with that shield?? cause it looks fairly unatractive...but if it works better ( and is cheaper haha ) i think it would be more worthwhile.
