So at 9:30 PM i decided i was bored and see if i could do anything with the silencer box and the Stupid intake i have now. I took off the silencer box AND the rubber piece that holds it.
This is the intake i have now.
So here comes the slew of Noob and retarded questions. Make fun of me if u wish i just need some more input since im hitting up Home Depot Tomorrow for the parts to finish off my CAI.
1: Can i drive around with the rubber piece off of the TB? Im mostly just going to drive to Home depot and back home. Probably around 20 miles Max.
2: Do i need to Keep the Rubber piece for the TB once i get the PVC Piping or do take off the rubber piece of the TB and put the pvc piping on that? Im prob an idiot for asking this since i have a idea of pvc piping not Flexing that much but hey im retarded! lol
3: So I would need a 90 degree angle and about 1 foot of 3 inch pvc piping correct? I measured the Blue coupling from my Intake i got on e-bay and its around 3 and half inches. Should i just get a 3 and tighten that thing down like crazy? Would there be any problems?
4: Am i going to notice a sound difference now once i add this stuff to it at all? Or will it be just a slight increase of sound? I have a 96 Automatic and it usually Shifts at 6k. Is that really where the sound will kick in?
Any and all Responses will be appreciated! even if to call me a Idiot! Thanks for the help everybody!
