  • 97 TB on a 99?

Just as the title asks, sicne I'm buying a turbo kit for a 98- 3.8, I'll either need to modify the charge pipe or put on a pre 99 TB. I was just making sure that the TB will mount up without any problems

no a 97 tb will not fit a 99 without some heavy modifications. Totally different throttle setup

I seriously want to put a 99+ TB on my 98. I'd love to give it a shot since the summer is almost over.

Waste of time and money. And the difference is not just the TB, but also the sensor connections on the upper intake manifold. I researched putting a 99+ straight intake on my 96. Way TOO much work for any benefit.
