Re: header leak
Yes there are a few spots they could be leaking. I got mine to stop leaking on the block I used GM steel gaskets with locking bolts, for the EGR I used a block off and used RTV blue copper with no gasket, and I cut my phlanges off and put V clamps on like they use for turbos. Ive had my headers now for 3 years with no leaks.

Re: header leak
They are called V clamps. like these http://www.nextag.com/serv/main/buye...ID=13155781011
Im not sure if 2 1/2 would fix it. I heard of people cutting off the 2 hole flanges and putting 3 hole flanges. Im not 100% sure.....

Re: header leak
prolly just cutting the flange off and welding a 3 hole flange one, but im not sure where they would sell it like that. maybe an exhaust shop or an autozone? I dont think a v clamp would be needed in this case the only reason I suggested a v clamp was because I was running 11 PSI and didnt want an exhaust leak, but this method works really well if you dont want to weld your Y pipe.Last edited by derkyboy187; 08-07-2007, 12:11 AM.
