I bought grade 8 bolts today from Tractor Supply, and they're 5/16 1 inch bolts. However, I'm nervous about the threads having the correct spacing. I've seen on a previous post that the size 5/16x18x1 would fit. The bolts I bought today didn't give a thread size, it only said "coarse thread". If they don't fit, I'm not going to be devastated or anything because it was only $2 for the bolts and lock washers. But I don't want to have no headers on my car and have to buy some other ones and wait for them to come in the mail. Any suggestions on finding some header bolts locally? Automotive shop? Auto Zone? I just don't feel like spending $50 on Stage 8's. Thanks!

Re: Header Bolts
what kind of headers did you buy? the only thing nice if you got the stage 8 ones you pretty much put them on and they're done with. When I had the regular kind (I dont remember the size sorry) I remember I had to tighten them a few times and when they werent tight enough they blew the gasket out.
