are the Throttle Body Spacers really worth buying? there is one here for about $100, and claims to give 10 hp & 12 torque

yeah i've got one and no i don't think it gives you 10 more HP but it does make you intake sound wicked

99 and up is straight, 98 is angled

There is no way that a carb/tb spacer is going to give any engine 10 hp. Sorry but at best I would expect to see is a 1-1.5 hp gain anything more would be great.

tb spacers are for when you have done everything else you can do to the engine and after that you might need one

$45 from zzp. And it's phenolic so it doesn't transfer heat like a metal spacer.

yeah it does seem a little expensive. i have a ram air kit, air box lid, jet chip, and muffler so i was looking for some good hp before i replaces the entire exhause with headers and cat back. is this a good next step if i can get one for $45? or should i get something else? it's a 99 camaro
