Re: Pacesetter Headers on a 3.4
very similar, you have more room on a 3.4 than a 3800. the hardest part is getting the old exhaust manifolds offWolf
95 black t-top camaro,3.4 5 speed,ud pullies,plugs/wires,de-shaft tb & gutted airbox, homemaid short throw shifter

Re: Pacesetter Headers on a 3.4
oh yea, take off your oil pressure sensor before you install the headers, or you will break it off.
this is a easy motor to put headers on (try messin with a 4.6 ford or any small 4x4)
I recommend felpro exhaust gaskets for a 85-88 v6 fiero,as the gasgets that come with the headers will burn up in no time flat, and stock 3.4 gaskets will not work with headersWolf
95 black t-top camaro,3.4 5 speed,ud pullies,plugs/wires,de-shaft tb & gutted airbox, homemaid short throw shifter

i got the gaskets for the fiero, they seem to be well made with a fire ring around each port, its sad but the ones made for our cars are not the best ones to use...... also i have the stage 8 locking header bolts so i will not have to worry about leaks or retightening ever. the paper gaskets that come with the pacesetters are pathetic, but i hear that some people have used them and had no problems with them. (3.4 owners)
i am no mechanic but the driver side looks way easier than the passenger side for installation, there seems to be much more room to work with. I hope the guy i'm payin knows what he's doin and doesn't break anything.
