most, if not all, of summit's 3" turbo mufflers have a 2.5" internal diameter. I would give them a call to check on that particular one.

Honestly I wouldn't replace just the muffler. Magnaflows cat back is just over 400 bucks but its stainless steel and comes with the sweet 3 1/2" slash cut dual tips :) Or just X the muffler and take your car to a shop and weld on a few feet of piping with tips of your choice.

borla has the PRO XS muffler which is a dual exit and pretty affordable. It's what I have and love the mellow deep tone. I've heard good things about summit turbo mufflers and they seem to sound nice but i don't have any experiance with them.

i love my flowmaster. but then again it's a full set up that give the car the real sound. from a cam to muffler. it all plays a part.
