you can easily find it cheaper than the 300 bucks. look around a bit, or buy one off another member or something.

I'm assuming youre talking about the 3.8 kit for 95-97 3.8's that sells for about 300.

this kit is the same intake for lt1's and 3.4's except it comes with a 1le elbow. if you find a used lt1 intake and add a 1le elbow you can usually come out cheaper.

dont forget you can usually find K&N intakes a bit cheaper since they dont have quite as nice of a lok as the slp.

well right now it got one of those e-bay ones with a k&n behind the headlight, build since i am replacing the lifter i got a TB spacer and am looking to get a intake. so there is the SLP or a the 1le elbow with the K&N intake.....which would make more hp or be better?

they are both going to net pretty much the same HP. You would really be going for whatever look you are after more than HP gains between the K&N and SLP cold air kits.

If it was up to me though, I would get the SLP

ok just realized something, i got a TB spacer it is3/4 of a inch well i have room with that for a SLP intake or is the 1LE elbow gonna hit my rad.? so what im asking is if some1 with the slp could see if they got 3/4 of a inch between the elbow and rad

i got the SLP intake on mine with a 1LE elbow and i got the TB spacer too..everything fits fine...just gotta tell it to fit and it does
