i got my flowmaster cat back put on a couple days ago and while we were at it we cut the cat out, it was old and clogged. its now just a straight through pipe back to the muffler. it sounds great nice and deep but of course its a little raspy past 3000, do you guys think adding a small glass pack (18in) in place of the cat would help keep the rasp down at all? any suggestions? i really dont want to get a high flow cat, i dont have emissions and since its a 95 o2 is not a problem, i dont want to spend the money for a high flow cat since i dont need it, im just wondering if a small cheap glass pack would help.

Re: add a glass pack to cat-back in place off cat???
well when i originally put the cat-back on i bought the smallest 2.5 in/out glass pack i could find. autozones smallest was 28 in long. it was too long by about 6 inches so the 18 should fit nicely. ill be ordering one from summit tommarow to see how it works out
