I joined late in life at 28. Graduated a couple days before my 29th birthday. Already had a house, business, wife and two sons so reserve was all i was able to commit to. Did 8 years reserve with Bravo Company, 4th tanks in Yakima, WA. Been out for a couple years now. Left as E5. 4 months after I was released Bravo got activated and shipped over for a year as Provisional Security. It was very strange not going with them. Bother me for a long time as I felt like I had abandoned them...
i'm in the process of having these headers installed, by a shop (first time to this one stop shop, but it was convenient, orderly and some people recomended him), on my 99 camaro....he said they've been a b*tch to get on and is also having 'difficulties' with the A/C lines clearance...i'll know more details about what exactly he's having trouble with, when i see the car later this week. besides the one sticky in the Exhaust section, anyone else put these headers on their 98+?

CIA headers work best on 2000+ due to the change to the A/C lines off the back of the A/C compressor. This was due to the GM change from "log" to "semi-headers" in 2000.
The AC lines are made of aluminum and will move quite a bit. More than many shops are comfortable doing. I have had two customers this year who have had to go to the shop during the install and literally grab and move the AC lines themselves. Afterwards the shop was able to finish up without issue. It comes down to the shop not feeling comfortable bending/moving lines around. If they break them, they don't want to be responsible for replacing them.
i'm currently working with the shop, in order to get the A/C working again, after the header install...bad timing for A/C issues (no cold air coming out) in Orange County! Hot air, smoke, and ash.....damn! i'll, hopefully, get pics up next week....

What issue with the AC resulted? Was it related to the header install or did they pull the lines and deplete the refridgerant in order to do the install?
I do not have any installed pics any longer. My computer crashed last year and I lost many files.
The car the headers were built on was sold in 2000 so and install pics will have to come from customers if available. If anyone has any and can not host, please email them and I'll get them on the website.
Ok thanks anyway. Hate to say it, but you'll probably need to have install pics and a sound clip in order to sell your headers. Headers aren't cheap and people want to know exactly what they are getting for their money. Oh yeah, a dyno chart wouldn't hurt either. ;) I'll wait until I see some more info on them. They look VERY nice. Thanks and good luck.
We would consider it, but we would need a car to do it.
This summer if you want my firebird, lemme know. I'm plannign on building a turbo around it, but I wont need my car this summer seeing as I will be working for delta down in ATL. Let me know if you would like to fab some LTs or some forward swept headers and how long you would need it for.
Car expresses who you are. If you have a ****ty car, you must be a ****ty person;)

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/995979
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
