Break in period for flowmasters?

Hey guys,
I got a flowmaster 80-series catback system not even a week ago. I thought it would sound good since most people who own the 80 series like it. But, to me its not a low in the higher RPM's as I would like it. I dont know if it needs time to "break in" but, if it continues Ill need to be getting some headers ;) I cant live with a riced out camaro.

flowmaster mufflers will "break-in" after some miles but it will always sound bad

mine sounds bad too but i did put a resonator where the cat was and now for me it sounds real nice,,even in high rpms they think im a v8

Your saying taking my cat off and putting a resonator there will help? Isnt it illegal to take off your cat?

how much are resonators?

i got a 80 series, and i really don't go into high rpms all that much, but how much are they?

I got a fake CAT but here in south texas they dont care much about that.
and i do like how my Flowmaster sounds, but im not sure if its a 80 series.

in my country they dont check for cat. its not illigle to run with out cat .down here
