My mechanic is putting my pace setter headers on my 93 3.4 and i bought the stage 8 locking header bolts off of full throttle performance. com
he doesn't think that they are the right size, he tried putting them in by hand and they don't thread or something, he's gonna get a measuring tool to find out today. Did i get the wrong bolts? I thought the set was universal..... does anyone know anything about this? can anyone help me out?

He probably needs to run a tap down all the bolt holes to clean all the rust out of the threads, that's what I did. Then those bolts go in like butter.

yeah he said he just had to clean em out a little
and no they are not in yet, i will certainly let you know the power/sound differnce after it is done.
I must add however that while he is putting my headers on he has also agreed to throw in my aluminum driveshaft and put on my new msd plug wires, so the performace gain will be a bit more than just headers.
While he is doing me a huge favor and doing all this for 200$ i must say he is taking his jolly old time. he's had it for 2 weeks already, but he had a problem cuz one of the bolts snapped so its a minor setback for now but i will let u know how things are when i do finally get my baby back =)
