How does piping quality do anything with performance? I found tons for 97 and under, but not really for 98+. This is the only thing I see...

get an intake from chromeIntakes on eBay. That one looks like the stock filter off my Kawasaki KX250.
Smooth piing will cause less turbulance and better flow. 3" pipe I think is small for the intake, most guys have 2.5-3" exhaust on their cars.\'97 Camaro M5 Y87 3.23 LSD, homebrew CAI, highfloCat, Flowmaster catback, Pacesetter headers, specstage3 clutch and aluminum flywheel, !egr, 2kW system.<br /><br />Possible L67 bottom end w/ abbott heads and a turbo in the works... gotta do more homeworkComment

Save for a name brand. First, thats just a short ram, still takes in hot air. Second Ebay cone filters are some of the sh!ttiest quality filters Ive ever seen. Its just styrofoam basically.Its not even filter media. Save for a good one like a K&N FIPK.Comment
