  • Cutout BEFORE cat?

Does anyone have this? Or does everyone just have it under the rear seat like me/most people?

The way I have it is not that loud and I was just wondering what it sounds like before the cat like on the Y-pipe? Anyone have a video? Wouldn't that be ALOT louder than after the cat?

(Before anyone mentions it, I searched for about 30 minutes.. both on here and on google/youtube videos).

I know what it would "be like" but I was asking if anyone had any videos?

Mmm, so its suggested to install these after the cat? I was going to put mine before the cat to maximize flow...Noise level isn't really an issue. I can always close the cutout if I just want to drive around, and open it up when I want to run. I was planning on using one of the electric openers so I could do it inside the car.

I have my cutout before the cat and although I dont have any videos right now, I can assure you that it IS loud as all hell. and unless you have the electric cutout you really wont be able to run it open on the streets without getting pulled over.

You said it sounds loud...do it sound good? Quality over quantity and all that...

              Re: Cutout BEFORE cat?

Yeah I have an electric and currently it is clamped/spot welded after the cat under the passenger seat (for easy removal)... could you please make a video/soundclip f-tothe-ill?

And if you do make one, make sure the camera is far away from the car to do an accurate recording unlike the retards the put the camera right under the car on a LOUD exhaust.

I would think you may throw cat codes from the rear o2 not heating up enough.... but thats just a guess.

Good take a video ASAP because I want to do it with mine, but I only want to do it if it sounds better/louder etc etc.

i can't really post any videos since i live on campus and the cops here are douchebags plus i dont want to have to wait forever for it to cool down so i can cap it again.

                              That's why you get an E-cutout :D

Well can you describe it? Everyone always says it's loud and sounds like ****.. but I don't think it would.. if anything I think it would sound better.
