okay. so I get a new maro. there's a coat hanger wrapped around the exhaust with a perfectly good rubber hanger still on. of course that crap is coming off! now it's rattling when it gets below 1000 RPM. F'n gay! I'm pretty sure I've narrowed it down to my exhuast somewhere along the line. Help me! it's a 2000 camaro v6 (if that helps)

you're gonna have to get under there and go along your exhaust and check for clearance issues.

I have the same problem... When I had my exhaust done I had a hanger welded on right under the passenger seat, and it connects to the exhaust somewhere around the cat. However, because of our huge speedbumps in my new apartment complex, my exhaust hits everytime i go over them and it broke the weld on that hanger and now mine rattles on the support that goes under the exhaust by the cat. So if you can picture where I'm talking about, i'd check that.

            Re: rattle

My exhaust rattled at the connection right after the S-pipe. I tried pushing it back together several times and shimming out the clamp, but it would come loose after just a few days. I ended up just spot welding it together.

Slap some black paint and a Chevy sticker on it and you'll be fine...
