ok well i have a '96 firebird v6 and i have cat back exhaust and i was wondering dose putting aftermarket headers do alot cause i know on some cars the stock headers are better than aftermarket one's and also what are some stuff i can do thats a little cheap that i can do to my car to make it a little bit faster but not to kill the gas milliage too much at all

Hey wazzup man welcome to the site. Any pics of your bird oh yeah and there are plenty of mods that r cheap, just learn how to use the search feature because they are already 70million threads about things like this...lol..

as far as i know only camaros and birds 2000-2002 have headers that are good to keep but headers are def worth it you get better gas miles and in some cases better sound intake and other cheap mods will help search free mods.:tup:

00-02 camaros have tublar headers which are good. i still changed mine out to go with aftermarket.

you would deff benifit from aftermarket headers. you can get them as cheap as 250 new.

as for other mods for you to do that can help you....

you want to start by letting her breathe. full exhaust, headers, y pipe, high flow cat. make sure to get a nice intake on there

then you can start with the fun mods like NITROUS!!!
