        there are a lot of variables involved to determine that...

        the type of muffler and basically the rest of exhaust setup.

        but not all 3.4s sound better than 3.8s.

          in general, 3.4's do sound better than 3.8's.... just like lt1's sound better than ls1's.


          my y-pipe came unbolted, and it sounded TERRIBLE.

            haha, i know what you mean. at idle with aftermarket headers it sounds okay. once u give it throttle... :o

              On the N/A race car it just has headers and Y, to 3in stainless turn down. It sounds pretty nice.
