I need some Exhaust help

i need to know what would make my maro sound better. i want to get new headers and go all the way back with something new. i do have the slp center mount tip (just tryng to find the rear groundeffects to fit around it). Ive been offered a 3in edelbrock cat-back exhaust from a 92 v8 but im not sure it will fit right. in a nut-shell i just need some help.

I've compared a stock 3rd gen cat-back to a stock 4th gen cat-back and they are almost the same.

the S-pipe is different but that is an easy solution

yeah i took a look at my exhaust when i had it up on the rack at work and it looked like it would match up but i wasn't 100% sure though. is there any other company that makes headers for the v6 other than pacesetter?

dont get rksport, you will only have problems.
and only get CIA if you have a 00+, unless you want to have AC problems :D

i do know the exhaust is different on the 97 and below and 98+

Wrong, on multiple accounts. The exhaust is the same for 1999 and below. From 2000 on is when tubular manifolds were used.

I think he means the exhaust piping, not the headers.
