I've never heard a crappy sounding LS1 until now. Even with Flowmasters I think it sounds better than that. And that guy went the lazy way with the true duals, they are supposed to tuck over the axle :)

most people dump true duals for many reasons, sound, price,wieght, ect.
powersticks are a straight through chamber muffler, similar to sweet-thunders but dont neck down in the middle.
FWIW- i never had anyone say my car sounded bad, and ive lost count on how many people think it sounds like a v8, everyone thats heard it loved it . i surprised alot of people at the track everytime i went. ( headers,cat, rumbler with a sweet thunder in the I pipe )

Actually if you look around, you'll see a lot of people run their true duals under the axle.
If I had a track only car, but didn't wanna dump at the axle, I would run under the TD's under the axle... Less bends, plus its cheaper. I wouldn't do it for a daily driver
