I've never heard a crappy sounding LS1 until now. Even with Flowmasters I think it sounds better than that. And that guy went the lazy way with the true duals, they are supposed to tuck over the axle :)

most people dump true duals for many reasons, sound, price, wieght, ect.

powersticks are a straight through chamber muffler, similar to sweet-thunders but dont neck down in the middle.

FWIW- i never had anyone say my car sounded bad, and ive lost count on how many people think it sounds like a v8, everyone thats heard it loved it . i surprised alot of people at the track everytime i went. ( headers, cat, rumbler with a sweet thunder in the I pipe )

^ that post confused me... Nothing you said was in reference to the post you quoted.

No one mentioned dumping true duals. (which is perfectly fine)

Who said your car sounded bad? I'm sure it sounds good with the exhaust you claim to have. Get some sounds up!

Actually if you look around, you'll see a lot of people run their true duals under the axle.

Ya, and isn't that how Cobras and GT's are routed? (or am I crazy)

If I had a track only car, but didn't wanna dump at the axle, I would run under the TD's under the axle... Less bends, plus its cheaper. I wouldn't do it for a daily driver
