So what is up with the "non replaceable" K&N filter on the side of my stock intake? I haven't seen any mention of them here. It says to clean it every 50-100K miles, but doesn't explain what it's purpose is. Was it some kind of factory option? Looking at the engine it is on the right side behind the headlights.

Make sure there is actually a K&N in there. At Jiffy Lube I checked EVERY air filter, sticker or not, most of the time it was a regular filter, and the other half it was a dirty neglected K&N.Comment
