I actually know how exhaust systems work.

are you rich, can you go out and spend 1000 bucks on a new exhaust system?
If you would read my posts...

Thusly, all this talk about "wah wah i'm poor wah wah" doesn't mean anything. No matter what exhaust you put on a V6 or how much money you throw at it, it will NOT sound like a V8.

with the bagging that it makes me not want to tell people about what i have done because i am sure there is someone out there that is going to say i am wrong or "stupid".
If you're too scared to post or are so concerned with what random people think about your car, that's a personal problem you need to sort out.

...No amount of money is going to make your car sound like a V8.

Instead of being a ******* and telling me is sucks, why not say congrats?
Why criticize me, and say my **** sucks?
Where did I say any of that? These are my posts in this thread:

Don't kid yourself into thinking your mediocre catback makes your car emulate a V8; it's only going to get you embarrassed.

hmm...nothing about saying your exhaust sounds bad. I said it doesn't sound like a V8, proven by the soundclip you posted. There is a difference between the two, even if you fail to see it.

lol @ the Z28 badging :twak:

nice 2000 rpm and below soundclip. try revving past 3k rpms and it will sound like crap like all other v6 fbodies , whether it be expensive or cheap exhaust.

                      Re: New Exhaust

Hey man, if you like it then, great. It's your car and do as you wish. I was just simply stating that they are not my taste. Most of the other vehicles near me have Flowmasters, so I just feel it's an overused company. Not to mention that I personally don't like the sound or the quality of the products. But, again, it's your car, do as you wish.

What V8 has two cylinders firing simultaneously? Last time I checked they fired 90* of crank rotation apart.

Many v8's have odd firing where two cylinders fire consecutively on the same bank. No exhaust, no matter how expensive or cheap, is going to create that effect.

                            Re: New Exhaust

you may find some exhausts with a deep tone while at idle, But as soon as you step on the gas, the tell tale buzz gives it away as a V6.
V8's do have cylinders that fire consecutively on the same bank, but not at the same time.
