Dumped over axle

Ricey as hell on a V6 with TD's? I just picked up my cousins camaro for dirt cheap and was thinking about trying a TD with custom H pipe and dump it over the axle....any thoughts? pics? soundclips? I had magnaflow 2.5" on my last camaro and loved it but I want something a bit louder and different.

I'm gonna go way out there and say side exhaust. I think with the right body kit, two pipes coming out each side right before the rear wheel would look awesome. So run it down the center, then curve out and end it with twin tips. Make sure the twins are long enough so it doesn't look like a single pipe being split. Also point them back at a 30-45 degree angle and cut the angle into the ends of the pipes. Oh god that would look giant 3" pipes sticking out the side. :D

If your concerned about weight and don't mind having no tips, dump before the axle. Don't bother with side pipes. IMO you can't make side pipes look good on a 4th Gen.

Twin Borla XR1's so far take the cake for V6 sound.

your right, side pipes would not look right at all. Alot of cars they dont look good on. I think even on C4 were some of them were out the side didnt look that great.

So I should get some headers, run them back at 2.5" with twin borla XR-1s dumped right before the axle? Room enough for that?

yeah, that's jordan's set up. sounds great but don't plan on lowering your car.
