i bought this flowmaster for my firebird according to the part number its the 80 series that camaros/firebirds use. its never been used. hopefully it sounds good. the one of my camaro is a 80 series and was used and its too high pitched. i replaced the catylac converter with a long red glasspack cherry bomb. so hopefully with that cherry bomb and a flowmaster..it'll sounds good. do u think i got a good deal on the price?:naughty:

hmmm thats what my friend has on his maro but he is having trouble with it now as it is going bad and its only about 7 months old

came to about 50 with shipping included.

i'm sticking with flowmaster on all of my cars probably. the last non flowmaster muffler i experienced sounded like a Honda.

Hate to rain on your parade but flowmaster sux performance wise, Drone is a big factor with the flowmaster 80 on our V6's as well. I used to have the 80 on mine and I got tired of it in a hurry.

i love flowmasters. i have them on my 97 gt..sounds nice. i know it wont sound as good on my firebird but oh well.

No question they sound good on V8's, But performance wise and sound wise on our V6's theres way better choices then flowmaster or on any car IMO.

But You did get a good price on it for sure, I'll give You that.

Didnt say they rob, Just was watching a car show on speed and they were comparing flows with mufflers like flowmaster and a cherry bomb brand muffler(not glasspacks) flowmaster only had 40% flowing compared to a 70% flowing cherry bomb.

Point is flowmaster is better then stock but isnt the best flowing muffler for performance.

everyone on the ls11tech.com message board says the same.
i just want a good sound. if theres another muffler that sounds just like the flowmaster with better flow..then i'd get that.

eh, youll like it. slap it on. people just repeat whatever they read on the internet. it just like armour all, and rksport. show me some proof. it will flow fine, and i'd put money on the fact that it will flow better than a stock muffler.
