i know AutoZone sells little 12"(?) long pipes. but i was wanting something longer. where do muffler shops buy there pipes at?
    how much would they cost?

the 12" ones at autozone are about $6.00 i think. would it be worth just welding a bunch of those together?

Maybe just ask a muffler shop to sell you the length you want?

No, it wouldn't. Just buy them from the muffler shop

I bought a 10' pice of 2 1/2" pipe last week at MANDREL BENDING SOLUTIONS. They sell on ebay and a web sight, but they are local for me. It was $4.50 per foot for aluminized steal pipe.

They are limited to how long a piece they can ship.

what are you trying to accomplish with these long pieces of pipe?

if your trying to fab up your own exhaust. Mandrel bent is the only way to go. possibly stainless steel too, if your pockets are deep enough. although, im sure that for cost effectiveness there are probably some exhaust systems already manufactured that would do the job. i can think of a few for sale in the for sale section of this very forum!
